Houses ordered to vacate:
Officials in the coastal areas of Isumi have issued evacuation notices for about 17,000 homes in anticipation of the storm. Along with this, he has started exploring them to protect the elderly and disabled. The possibility of a thunderstorm has also been expressed in this area by late night today. During this time, there may be torrential rain along with strong winds. The city of Yokohama has also issued an order to evacuate people to safer places. Heavy rain lashed the coastal areas this morning and thousands of homes were also without power due to strong winds. Railway and airline services have also been stopped after receiving the notice about the storm. The country’s two major airlines, Japan Airlines and All Nippon Airlines, have canceled more than 500 flights. In addition, six bullet train services have also been suspended. The Meteorological Department has issued warnings of heavy rain, strong winds, flooding conditions and landslides for northern and eastern Japan.
