The Kolkata High Court has reprimanded the Mamata Govt. The Calcutta High Court has handed over the investigation to the CBI regarding the vandalism of the RG Kar Medical College and Hospital premises in Kolkata. Meanwhile, the High Court said that this incident is a failure of law and order. The hospital was vandalized on the night of August 14. Mamata Banerjee government has received a big blow as the case of vandalism in RG Kar Hospital was handed over to CBI. The High Court handed over the investigation of the rape and murder case of a trainee junior female doctor at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital to the CBI. It is worth mentioning that people are outraged after the brutal murder of a woman doctor. Kolkata Police was investigating. Which has now been handed over to the CBI. During the hearing, the High Court on Friday reprimanded the Mamata Banerjee government. The High Court said that we will close the hospital. We will shift all the people. Close the hostel. How many patients are there? The High Court also took a stand against the state police. The court said that when the police cannot protect itself. So how does a doctor act fearlessly? A bench headed by Chief Justice TS Sivagyannam said, “The police could not save their own people, it is a very bad situation, in which how can a doctor act fearlessly?” As the hospital received several emails about vandalism and mob attacks, the matter is getting more attention. Mamata Sarkar replied to the bench headed by the Chief Justice that, ‘…there was a crowd of about 7,000 people. Suddenly the crowd grew… I have the video. They broke the barricades… Tear gas shells were fired and 15 policemen were injured. The Deputy Commissioner was injured. Police vehicles were damaged. The emergency room was ransacked but the crime scene was secure.
