A youth fell 150 feet down the waterfall while taking a selfie and making a reel amid the heavy flow of water.
The young man had come to have a picnic with his friends. His foot slipped in the stream of water. The young man also grabbed the safety chain to save his life. Friends also tried to save him. However, due to the rapid flow of water, the chain slipped from his hand and he fell down the waterfall. The accident took place at Menal Spring in Bijolia, Bhilwara on Monday at 12 noon. According to information, Kanhaiyalal Bairwa (26), a resident of Bhawani Nagar, Bhilwara, along with his 17-year-old friend Akshit Dhobi, reached Menal on a bike on Monday morning to celebrate a picnic. Both friends were bathing on the rock. Kanhaiyalal waded into the heavy flow of water to take a selfie and make a reel. where his foot slipped. He caught the safety chain in the flowing water. Friend Akshit and a local swimmer tried to save him. Due to the heavy flow of water in the spring, the youth struggled for about five minutes to save himself and finally the chain came loose from his hand. After stretching about 100 meters, he fell 150 feet down the falls. As soon as the information was received, a team of police and administrative officials reached the spot. During the accident, a local swimmer tried hard to save the youth, but due to the strong current of the water, the chain that he was holding also came loose. Bengu Mamlatdar Dharmendra Swami said- iron chains have been installed for barricading in Menal for security. Slogans are written for security. To avoid any accidents, the administration has deployed a team of swimmers. Police arrangements were made. Despite this, people reach a dangerous place without paying attention.
