In the state executive meeting held at Salangpur, more than 1300 office bearers including office-bearers and executive members including Union Water Power Minister and State President CR Patil, Chief Minister Bhupendrabhai Patel, Piyush Goyal, Union Minister of State Nimuben Bambhania, State Organization General Minister Ratnakar, State General Minister Rajnibhai Patel and Vinodbhai Chavda and Workers were present in the meeting. The mobile phones of all the workers present in the business meeting were silenced and kept aside.

On this occasion, C.R. Patil said that his tenure as the state president of Gujarat BJP has come to an end, submitting to the high command to relieve him of the responsibility.
