In which state government employees benefiting from the Seventh Pay Commission have been announced to be given an additional benefit of 4 percent in dearness allowance on a central basis from January 1, 2024. A total of 4.71 lakh karma yogis and approximately 4.73 lakh retired employees i.e. pensioners will get the benefit of this dearness allowance increase.

The difference between January and February will be found in the salary of July
The difference amount of dearness allowance for 6 months i.e. from 1st January 2024 to 30th June 2024 will be paid along with salary in three installments. Apart from this, the difference amount for the months of January-2024 and February-2024 will be paid to the employees with the salary of July-2024, the difference amount of March and April-2024 with the salary of August-2024 and the arrears of dearness allowance for May and June-2024 will be paid to the employees with the salary of September-2024.
