Marking a significant step towards strengthening women leadership in Rotary, the Rotary Club of Ahmedabad Skyline Tejasvini, a women’s only Rotary club, was officially chartered on the occasion of International Women’s Day at Timtim, SBR, Ahmedabad. The club has been formed under the dynamic Skyline ecosystem, inspired by the remarkable growth and vision of the Rotary Club of Ahmedabad Skyline, which today stands as the largest and most vibrant Rotary club in Gujarat, the third largest in India, and among the top ten largest Rotary clubs in the world. Continuing Skyline’s philosophy of leadership, fellowship and impactful service, the newly formed club aims to provide a dedicated platform for women to lead service initiatives, develop leadership capabilities and contribute meaningfully to society. The club charter was presented by Assistant Governor Rtn Roopal Shah, while District Governor Rtn Nigam Chaudhary extended his encouragement and support towards the formation of this women-led initiative. The Women’s Day celebration witnessed participation from over 40 women members, who came together for a vibrant brunch gathering filled with engaging conversations, interactive games and fellowship activities, celebrating the spirit of women empowerment. For the Rotary year 2026–27, Rtn Mamta Shah will serve as the President, while Rtn Vrunda Chauhan will take charge as the Secretary of the club. The leadership also acknowledged the valuable guidance of Club Advisor Rtn Rakhee Khandelwal, whose mentorship helped shape the vision and formation of the club.Appreciation was extended to Rtn Preetika Gupta for coordinating the event and Rtn Rekha Kabra for organizing the arrangements for the Women’s Day celebration.
