With the support of the Western India Regional Council (WIRC), Mumbai and the Ahmedabad Branch of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), the Accounting Museum at Vedant International School, Maninagar was formally inaugurated on 23rd December 2025, marking an important milestone in promoting accounting education and financial literacy among students.

The Accounting Museum has been conceptualized as a unique learning space that showcases the evolution of accounting from ancient civilizations to the modern era. The exhibits highlight the journey of record-keeping and financial systems — from early methods of measurement and documentation to structured accounting practices that form the backbone of governance, trade, and economic development. The museum aims to inspire students by presenting accounting not merely as a subject of numbers, but as a discipline rooted in trust, transparency, ethics, and societal progress.
During the programme, the dignitaries interacted with students and emphasized the importance of financial awareness, ethical conduct, and professional values. The students were also introduced to the wide career opportunities available in the Chartered Accountancy profession and the growing relevance of accounting in today’s dynamic global environment.
