Minimum temperatures across most parts of Gujarat remained above normal on Thursday, with many districts recording warmer-than-usual night conditions, according to the weather report issued by the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Ahmedabad, this morning.Naliya in Kutch was the coldest location in the state, registering a minimum temperature of 9.5°C, which was 1.0°C below normal. In contrast, several other stations reported minimum temperatures 2–3°C above normal, indicating a mild winter trend over large parts of the region.

Deesa reported a minimum of 13.6°C, 2.8°C above normal, while Bhuj registered 14.1°C, which was 2.2°C above normal. In South Gujarat, Surat recorded 16.6°C, with a departure of 0.5°C above normal, while along the Saurashtra coast, Veraval reported 18.4°C, warmer by 1.4°C. Dwarka reported 17.1°C, nearly normal, with a marginal negative departure of 0.1°C, while Porbandar registered 14.4°C, 0.7°C below normal. Bhavnagar recorded 16.2°C, 1.7°C above normal, and Amreli reported 13.2°C, 0.5°C above normal. Okha reported the highest minimum among coastal stations at 20.8°C, 0.6°C above normal.
