By-election declared on Vav seat

Out of the 26 seats in Gujarat, one seat went to the Congress, which is the Banaskantha seat. Now the Election Commission has announced a by-election on the vacant assembly seat of Ganiben Thakor. Voting will be held on 13 November 2024 and counting will be held on 23 November. While the date of application is 18 October, the last date for application is 25 October, the date of verification of candidature is 28 October. While the last date for withdrawal of candidature is 30 October. Political activities of BJP, Congress and Aam Aadmi Party have intensified after the announcement of Election Department.

Ganiben reacted as soon as the by-election was announced

As soon as the by-election was announced, MP Ganiben Thakor reacted. In which he expressed confidence of victory. He said, ‘Congress workers and Mowdi Mandal will work to win the by-election of Vav seat and all Congress workers will work as a team.
