After a two-day break across the state, Meghraja has again made a grand appearance. On Monday, 183 talukas have received rain in the last 24 hours in the state. In which the highest rainfall of 11.69 inches has been recorded in Walia of Bharuch. While Tapina Songarh received 9 inches, Mangrol 7.6 inches, Bharuch 7.2 inches, Tilakwada 6.9 inches, Dolwan 6.7 inches, Nadiad 6.5 inches and Subir 6.5 inches is In which 15 talukas have received more than 4 inches of rain, while 20 talukas have received more than 3 inches, 39 talukas have received more than 2 inches and 44 talukas have received more than 1 inch of rain. In Valia of Bharuch, a situation like a burst of light was created after torrential 12 inches of rain. Due to which the water again flooded the road of the parents. Due to which the vehicle drivers were put in trouble. Vehicular traffic was stopped due to flooding on the causeway connecting Dolatpur village. Apart from this, vehicular traffic came to a standstill due to flooding on the roads of Sodgam. Villages in the low lying areas of Walia have been alerted following heavy rains, which has declared a holiday in schools in Bharuch taluk. Desad and Sodgam of Walia also turned into bats due to heavy rains in the upper reaches of the river. The waters of Vankhadi and Keem river had returned. On the other hand, due to heavy rain in Bharuch district, five inches in two hours and 7.6 inches in the last 24 hours, the situation of waterlogging was created in many areas of the city, vehicles were stretched on many public roads, many canals were filled with water, and many roads were closed for vehicular traffic. People were stuck in the traffic jam due to the long queues of vehicles. Due to the fact that many shops are also filled with rain water, it is the turn of the traders to suffer a lot. As the entire public life was busy, the railway near Shaktinath in Bharuch’s main arm Sama area and the railway on the way to the Civil Hospital near the collector were filled with rain water, and long queues of vehicles were frozen on the roads.
